Commission to Study Effects of Slavery on African Americans

Congressman John Conyers has introduced House Bill 40 (re-read his statement here) once again to lay groundwork for repairing the residual effects of slavery on the Blackamerican community. It is important to note – regarding the film Prince Among Slaves – that although people passed down the name Prince throughout the generations, they lost their language, culture and religion.
